ME IN TIMES SQUARE 2025
Hey! It’s Kaia! Here’s my story and how I got into Content Creation.
Sooooo… I’m 19 years old, and a content creator. I started on YouTube when I was about 11 year, with my four sisters. Our mom actually got us on to that. We grew up making videos, documenting our new life in South Africa, having moved from North Carolina, USA, to show our friends and family back home.
Here’s one of our first videos
From that day on, we kept on filming videos and in 2020 I started on Tiktok. My sisters and I would film the latest dance trends and post them. Eventually we would try and make up our own dance, and one went viral. It was our “Santa Tell Me- by Ariana Grande” dance. Famous influencers were doing our dance and tagging me! It felt crazy. Everytime I refreashed my feed, thousands more views would appear on the video. It got over 50M+ views across platforms.
I eventually wanted to take these dances to Instagram Reels. Reels was the newest thing in 2021, so we went full force on that and started to grow a following on Instagram. Brands started to reach out and before you know it, we had our first collab! It was with a sweatset comoany. Which I still wear to this day (For Days). Kelty (my sister in the video above) is the sister right under me, in refrence to age order. Her and I love to make content the most out of my four sisters. We both saw a future for our content, and decided to create our own social media platforms alongside our collaberative sister pages.
HOW I GREW MY PERSONAL PAGE
I finished high shool in South Africa in March of 2023, and had a gap of time before I would start college in the USA at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. During this time I worked to grow my social media as hard as I could. One way I grew my platform on Tiktok was by going live. I created a community on live where we would try and hit goals as a sqaud. I could even battle other influencers.

In mid June of 2023, I went started my college life as a D1 Athlete. I met so many other athletes during my first few weeks on campus and continued on my live and content posts. My platform reach a whole other demographic since being a college athlete. My platform grew more and opened the oppertunity for me to work with many brands.
